Holy crud this just about killed me. But I've been doing so many backgroundless stuff lately I wanted to make up for it. So there ya go. A little princess riding into a dark woods with will o' wisps and stuff. There's no reins, so the horse must know where it's going. And a possom!
Holy crap. That background is AWESOME! It's so full of depth, and layered. I really feel like I could just step into the painting and go for a walk in those woods.
All of the hard work and "just about kill"-yness was absolutely worth it, for the final product.
Heh heh..she looks so lil' on the horse! I like how she stands out so much, and I really like the sunlight hitting the two of them, and making the rest of the woods look even darker.
Very nice job!

Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Please read this article for more information on how you can participate!
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
