I figured he'd be first!

a. Tom has had many incarnations before becoming a blood-thirsty monster hunter. He started out as a Naruto fan-character, oddly enough. Then he was the leader of a groupd of rebels in a fantasy story. Then he was a reclusive wizard with a wolf companion. When Bridgeport came around, I aged him about twenty years, gave him a more traumatic past and a gruffer personality. I've always been fond of him, but I think I like this version the best.

b. Loyalty/selflessness. Tom will do whatever is needed to help people he believes deserve it, no matter what the cost to himself.

c. Oblivious. While he can notice the traits that make a person a werewolf/vampire/demon/whathaveyou within about a minute of meeting them, he has a terrible time noticing people's feelings. He routinely hurts the people closest to him (at least he did when he HAD people close to him) and has absolutely no idea he's done it. The few times it's been pointed out to him, he's felt terrible about it, but it's usually too late to do much.

d. Tom is very easy to draw, probably because I don't try to make him cute. As for writing, it really depends on my mood. There's been times I've sat down and typed for eight hours straight and others where I can't even get a sentence that seems right.

e. This is a hard one... But I think the story that shows the most about him is A Bad Night. As for pictures, my recent halloween illustration.

f. I'm still working on the next story, and I have many after that planned. Also, each story will have an illustration, I've got some early sketches done on the current one.

Wow, that was long! Fun, though!

lol, kay!

a. Somebody peed in his ale. It was terrible! So he needed to be drawn to go on adventures with pretty, blue-haired sorceresses.

b. Bravery! Oriyan has no fear for himself, really, only for his companions. I'm not sure if his lack of concern about his own safety is confidence or naivety, though.

c. Impulsiveness. He just can't help himself sometimes.

d. Oriyan's easy to write for because he's pretty simple. He can be difficult to draw, especially when his hair's down.

e. The part where he found the bread. Perfect. Or maybe when he beat up the dwarf...

f. I'm working on page 83 right now! hah!

Let's hear about Adelina!

Yeah, it was incredible. The drugs, the sex, the all-night parties. I really miss that Shining Time Station. – Ringo

I stole your heart and a piece of pie.

Would it be cheating to use this meme to get some dirt on Random? You've drawn him fairly recently, and I've always been curious (for YEARS my friend!), but I know this attempt to be sneaky might not fly.

If he's off limits, than any Oriyan! character you CAN talk about.

a. Adelina came into being as an unfortunate milkmaid who got turned into a werewolf. Her purpose was to help the young priest in her town realize what decisions he needed to make in his life. She became part of bridgeport cuz I thought she was just about perfect for it.

b. Kindness. Adelina's known for being ridiculously sweet and adorable. Everyone who knows her well loves her. And she loves everybody, too!

c. She's very clingy. Adelina needs a lot of attention and affection, or she starts to think her friends are mad at her or stopped liking her. She worries about this often.

d. Adelina's easy to write and very hard to draw. Her eyeballs are very strange and it's difficult to get them to look right.

e. Bridgeport version Adelina hasn't been around long enough for me to answer this question. My favorite picture of her is her normal, snuggly wolf form.
:icontoktobis:
lol, forgot one!

f. Adelina's in the Tom story I'm working on now!

Oh, I bet I can do it without giving much away. I'll give it a try at least!

a. Random was created to intoduce his race into the Oriyan world. He's named after a character in a Zelazny novel I read around the time I created him. I can't remember anything about that guy other than that I liked him.

b. Empathy. Random hates to see his friends in pain, especially emotionally. He will often drop what he's doing and drag a worried companion off by themselves to talk out whatever's bothering them.

c. Cowardice. He prefers to avoid any sort of confrontation. Random seens no reason to fight if there's somewhere he can hide instead.

d. I don't know! I've only drawn him in the new style once, and it was frikkin hard...

e. Can't answer this one!
